What is Ultraformer?

Ultraformer is a practical and high-quality choice for patients who prefer a non-surgical approach to anti-ageing treatment and who wish to avoid the downtime associated with surgical procedures.

This rejuvenating procedure for the face, neck and chest, uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the growth of new collagen deep within the skin. The thermal affect essentially jumpstarts a repair process that strengthens existing collagen and produces fresh, new collagen. At the moment it is the only FDA approved system designed to actually lift and tighten the skin of the face, neck and chest.

During Ultraformer treatment, low amounts of Micro-Focused Ultrasound energy (highly focused heat energy) are delivered into precise skin depths, without damaging the surface of the skin. This triggers the body’s rejenerative mechanism that produces new collagen – the building blocks of firm, supple skin. Three separate cartridges will be used on each area – one for each of the targeted layers – and this will result in a multi-layered lifting and tightening of the skin.

The Ultraformer procedure is suitable for those who have developed signs of  “matured” skin that are shown, for instance, in the skin around the face and neck that looks and feels less firm and a lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids.  The procedure is good for patients in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin, however, often those under thirty use the procedure as a “preventive” measure.

After the treatment a patient can resume the daily activities immediately. The first effect shows up immediately and over time of 6 weeks results in the natural looking and long-lasting skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation – without the downtime of surgical treatment.

There is no downtime, but some patients have mentioned minimal bruising and tenderness in the face and neck following treatment

One session usually is enough, depending on the level of skin sagging. The number of session is discussed with your physician before the beginning of the treatment.
